Kenya’s next General Election will officially take place on Tuesday, August 10, 2027, as confirmed by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). The official campaign window is scheduled to run from Saturday, May 29, 2027, until Saturday, August 7, 2027, concluding exactly 48 hours before election day in line with constitutional requirements.The timelines were unveiled by Commissioner Ann Nderitu, the Chairperson of the Election Operations Committee, during the launch of the Election Operations Plan (EOP) 2025–2027 and the IEBC Strategic Plan 2024–2029.
