President William Ruto has dismissed the political capability of opposition leaders, vowing to secure a landslide victory in the 2027 General Election.
Speaking to residents of Habaswein and Griftu in Wajir County, the President asserted that his political rivals lack a meaningful agenda for the country and are preoccupied with rhetoric, while his administration remains focused on development and service delivery.
The remarks come as political activity begins to intensify ahead of the 2027 General Election, with both the government and opposition positioning themselves for the contest.
