Teachers to Receive Higher Pay as Government Allocates Sh8.4 Billion for CBA

The Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Evaleen Mitei, announced that the Kenyan government has allocated KSh 8.4 billion to implement Phase II of the 2025–2029 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), with public school teachers and civil servants set to receive enhanced salaries starting with the July 2026 payroll.
